They decided to repurpose these beautiful rocks that were once piled up in their front garden. They buried two sets of rocks at the entrance of both driveways and asked me to paint them. Below are the progression pictures from this project.

Driveway Markers
I will paint on just about anything and yesterday's project proves it! On Memorial Day I spent the afternoon painting driveway markers for my cousin-in-laws, Bobby and Annaliese. You might remember them from their engagement and wedding signs I painted a couple of years ago.

Arts in Bloom 2015
This past weekend, May 16 and 17, marked my third year participating in the Salem County Arts in Bloom Studio Tour. I always enjoy meeting new people, seeing familiar faces and sharing what I do with the public. Most visitors were local from within the county while others were from neighboring towns seeing what Salem County had to offer.
I had my 13 new paintings from this past year on display and for sale as well as archivable prints and greeting cards featuring my artwork. This year I experienced more people coming to my location (my studio at A Whole New Light). I am thankful to have met so many art appreciators and hope they will return during the holiday season for a work of art or print!
Below are some pictures of my studio. Thank you to A Garden Party for donating the beautiful floral arrangement that was used as a giveaway during the weekend!

The Neighbors Progression
Years ago we had pregnant diary cows as neighbors. I loved watching them from our picture window in the living room; especially "Big Red". I took many reference pictures and decided to do a painting to record the memory of their presence in my life.
Below are the progression pictures during the creation of the painting. Since many people ask how long a painting takes me to complete, I decided to keep track. This painting took about 20 hours to create which I completed in ten days.

Salem Oak Progression
This year's theme for the Salem County Arts in Bloom Studio Tour is the Salem Oak Tree. Each artist had the opportunity to make artwork using wood clippings from the Salem Oak or an inspired by piece. My painting is based from a picture from fellow artist, Janice Chassier. She took the picture on her iPhone and I loved the perspective as it also included the iconic Salem Oak Diner. Below are the progression pictures of this painting.
