Sunset Corn Painting SOLD!
Now that the holidays are over I can share this photo with you all! At the New Jersey Farm Bureau Annual Meeting I sold the original painting “Sunset Corn”. Caroline Etsch, the Women’s Leadership Chair, purchased the painting as a surprise Christmas gift for her husband, Jim, who is the Treasurer of NJFB. It is such an honor to have my painting in their collection on Etsch farm. (Shared with permission)

New Jersey Farm Bureau 101st Annual Meeting
I had such an amazing time being a part of the 101st New Jersey Farm Bureau’s Annual Meeting in Princeton. I met so many wonderful people who truly connected with my art and the purpose behind it. I also enjoyed the heartfelt conversations and made new friends along the way. I even saw some familiar Salem County faces far from home.
Thank you to everyone who watched my behind the scenes IG stories and sent me supportive messages throughout the long day. They were so appreciated!

Painting a Tree
Here’s a portion of my current work in progress. From the top left to the bottom right shows the creation of a happy little tree. I started by adding the dark areas then added some negative space to help define the tree’s shape. Then I added layers of highlight to create depth and more negative space.

October Workshop
This past weekend's painting workshop was so fun and festive! We used stencils to create the leaves and words. We learned how to blend acrylics with sponges and learned about analogous colors that students could choose for their fall creations.

Taking Time To Participate
I have learned a lot over the last five years of being a professional artist. One of the most important things is to take time away from the studio and participate in art events. Here I am pictured with Al and Tina Magonagle of the Pitman Gallery & Art Center at the opening of the Pitman Art Stroll. They are doing amazing things for the South Jersey art scene! They not only provide a place for local and regional artists to show their work, they also give amazing advice and guidance. I am so grateful for all that they do and the opportunities they create for artists and the public to learn about and enjoy art.

2020 Salem County Farmlands Calendar
The 2020 Salem County Farmlands Calendar is now available through preorder!
I am so excited to be offering my curated collection of 49 photographs for the third year in a row! I have been working on the calendar all year long and it is so much more than just beautiful landscape pictures. It’s my honor to document our county’s rich farming heritage while paying tribute to our hard working farming neighbors and family members who dedicate their lives to agriculture.
This year, I will continue to spread my donations among the Salem County FFA Chapters. For every 2020 calendar sold, $5 will be donated to the Penns Grove High School FFA Chapter. With your support, I am looking forward to being able to help more local students who are learning to become active members of our agricultural community.

2019 Salem County Fair Art Results
I am so proud of my private lesson student for persevering and pushing herself with this drawing. All of her hard work really paid off as she took Best of Show for Youth Drawing at the Salem County Fair! Her dog recently passed away and she wanted to honor her memory with a drawing. She created this independently at home and I consulted with her via online during the creation process about the suggestions I had to help her achieve the look she was going for. Isn’t technology awesome?!
