This past weekend I helped with the decorations for the my sister-in-law's bridal shower. We went for a country picnic theme with potted plants wrapped in burlap, sunflowers and antiques for displays. Below are some of the signs that I made for her special day. If you would like me to make a custom chalkboard sign for your next event, please visit my website by clicking here.

Sunset Silhouette Over Philly
This painting was something I've never done before: a city skyline! The photograph from which I worked from came from my one of my good friends, Don. You might remember him as my photographer from our engagement photo shoot.
I worked differently than I normally do: I mixed right on the canvas to achieve the sunset colors I wanted. It was also a much quicker painting due to the simple nature of the composition. A nice change of pace!
Below are the progression photographs of the development of this painting.

Engagement Signs
My husband's cousin, Bobby, got engaged to Annaliese this past July and she asked me to paint signs on vintage pallet boards that they were to use in their engagement pictures. Since Bobby proposed in Maine while on a boat ride, they recreated the proposal with a sign saying "I Said Yes!" She also wanted a sign painted with their upcoming wedding date. Below are just a few pictures from their engagement photo shoot. Thank you, Annaliese, for sharing these beautiful pictures!
